Financial Services Associate

  • Career development opportunity
  • Focused on Acquisition, General Corporate & Real Estate Finance

We are currently seeking an Associate with 2-5 PQE legal experience in acquisition finance, general corporate and real estate finance experience, to join the Sydney office of Squire Patton Boggs.

In this role, you will work directly with the Sydney Finance partner. Your role will be integral to the support and development of our Sydney Finance practice and, with a relatively flat structure at SPB, there is a real opportunity for rapid career development. You will certainly be in the spotlight, so your talents will have the opportunity to shine.

To succeed in this role you will have strong experience working on high value transactions. You will also be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and take carriage of matters.

You will have a hands on, can do attitude, and be committed, diligent, flexible and pragmatic in all areas of your work.

You will also be bright, self-motivated, have a high level attention to detail, be commercially savvy, but have an appreciation for black letter law. You will also be a strong communicator, with technical excellence and a genuine passion for the law.

At SPB we do not operate in silos, so collaboration is key - we are seeking team players, who are hardworking, down to earth, and adopt an inclusive work style. In return, you will enjoy a supportive, varied and fulsome career experience.
