A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Secretary to join global law firm Squire Patton Boggs in our Sydney office.

In this role you will be an integral member of the Sydney secretarial team, supporting two partners and a team of associates. Both partners specialise in different areas of law (Employment and Construction), so you will enjoy a busy role, with lots of variety. At Squire Patton Boggs we value team work and collaboration, so you will also have the opportunity to assist other teams and secretaries, as needed. In return, you will enjoy a supportive and collegiate work environment.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) diary and email management, meeting arrangements, document production and amendments, electronic and hard filing, opening and closing matters, working with the finance team on any required reporting, reconciling expenses, and monthly billing.

To succeed in this role, you will be a professional, collaborative and enthusiastic individual. You will have at least 3 years legal secretarial experience with demonstrated ability in organisation, effective prioritisation and attention to detail.

You will value diversity, be an excellent communicator and enjoy working with people. You will also have a strong appreciation for, and demonstrated ability in, delivering a high level of client service.

Your flexibility, initiative and 'can do' attitude are essential in this role. You will also demonstrate maturity and enjoy working in a team environment. Your commitment to excellence will see you shine in this role.

You will be highly proficient in MS Office, specifically Word (advanced formatting skills required) and Outlook, and have experience with using a document management system. Experience with MS Word styles would be preferred. You will also have a minimum typing speed of 65 wpm.
