A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in our Perth office for a high performing Corporate Associate to join #TeamSPB.

We are interested in both full-time and part-time candidates, so if a flexible work arrangement is something you're looking for, we are happy to discuss with you.

Within our highly respected and high performing Corporate team you will work directly with a new, up and coming partner, who has significant experience advising on domestic and cross-border private M&A transactions, project development, and corporate governance. Their practice is primarily focused on the power, energy and recourses sector, including oil and gas, hard rock mining, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage and renewables projects. With a growing practice, significant experience and a strong mentoring mentality, the opportunities for career defining work and progression with this partner are plentiful.

To succeed in this role, you will have 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within a private practice firm. Experience in energy and resources law will be advantageous.

You will be bright, self-motivated, innovative, commercially savvy and a strong communicator as well as technically excellent, with a high level of attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the law.

You will also have enthusiasm to play an active role in business development initiatives, as well as strong firm citizenship, engaging in firm initiatives, and being a supportive and collaborative colleague.

We are keen to consider interstate candidates, so if you're not currently based in Perth but are interested in relocating, we want to hear from you.
