Description
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in our Perth office for a
high performing senior Litigation Associate with an interest in
energy, competition, and regulatory law, to join #TeamSPB.
In this role, you will work directly with two experienced energy and
regulatory partners and a team of high performing associates, advising
a variety of clients including corporate, government and regulators,
such as the Economic Regulation Authority, on a range of commercial
and regulatory advice and disputes.
To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years'
experience in general litigation, and/or competition or regulatory
matters. Experience in energy law will be advantageous. You will be
able to take carriage of matters, managing files with minimal
supervision, and supervising and mentoring more junior associates.
You will have enthusiasm to play an active role in business
development initiatives, as well as strong firm citizenship providing
mentorship to others, engaging in firm initiatives, and being a
supportive and collaborative colleague.
You will also be bright, self-motivated, innovative, commercially
savvy and a strong communicator as well as technically excellent, with
a high level of attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the law.
