We have an exciting opportunity for a Secretary to join our Statutory Insurance team in Sydney, working with Robyn Brewster.

Whilst this role is full time permanent, part time days and / or reduced hours will also be considered.

Overseas qualified Lawyers are also encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for handling all administrative aspects of the team including:

  • Telephone calls with clients, Courts, other firms and service providers;
  • Drafting documents including correspondence, Court documents and briefs to Counsel and experts
  • General file management including archiving, file closures, saving documents into electronic files, printing and photocopying material
  • Court filing
  • Diary management using Outlook Calendars
  • Monthly Billing - experience with Aderant or a similar billing system will be highly regarded as will experience with narrative bills
  • Monthly client reporting - experience with Visual Files and Excel will be highly regarded

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a Legal Secretarial role
  • A positive attitude
  • The ability to provide accurate and timely information to both the team and the clients
  • An ability to work in a high volume practice and manage deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
