We have an exciting opportunity for a
Secretary to join our Statutory Insurance team in Sydney, working with Robyn Brewster.
Whilst this role is full time permanent,
part time days and / or reduced hours will also be considered.
Overseas qualified Lawyers are also
encouraged to apply.
You will be responsible for handling all
administrative aspects of the team including:
Telephone calls with clients, Courts, other firms and service providers;
Drafting documents including correspondence, Court documents and
briefs to Counsel and experts
General file management including archiving, file closures, saving
documents into electronic files, printing and photocopying material
Court filing
Diary management using Outlook Calendars
Monthly Billing - experience with Aderant or a similar billing
system will be highly regarded as will experience with narrative bills
Monthly client reporting - experience with Visual Files and Excel
will be highly regarded
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience within a Legal Secretarial role
A positive attitude
The ability to provide accurate and timely information to both the
team and the clients
An ability to work in a high volume practice and manage deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
