We are a high-performing advisory team within the leading professional services firm in New Zealand. We advise on a wide variety of complex transactions and projects, working with small business through to high profile corporate clients and public sector entities.

What would you be doing?
In this role you will be advising clients on a wide range of complex problems resulting in interesting and challenging projects. This is a client facing role that will offer exposure and variety and see you leading the day to day aspects of projects working with a range of organisations from mid-market companies to public sector entities providing financial and commercial advice and expertise in areas such as:

· Merger and acquisition related advice;
· Infrastructure and PPP projects;
· Business, equity and intangible asset valuations;
· Business cases and economic impact analysis; and
· Business and strategic planning.

You’ll also work closely with Partners and Directors to shape the future of the practice, including coaching, mentoring, and recruiting team members.

What you’ll need to bring to the role
We are looking for ambitious senior professionals to join our team. We expect that you will have a relevant University qualification (such as finance, accounting, economics), and at least 5 years of relevant commercial or analytical experience. 

Ideally you will also:
• Be commercially focused with an interest in corporate and public sector dynamics;
• Have strong analytical and evaluation skills and demonstrate accuracy while working in a fast paced environment;
• Have a collaborative and pro-active approach to work thinking no task is too big or too small;
• Be able to take responsibility and work autonomously;
• Driven to continue learning and developing your skills and share your experience with others through mentoring and coaching;
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills with client presentation experience; and
• Have a positive attitude, strong organisational skills and leadership potential.
