What would you be doing? We are currently looking for a talented Manager/Senior Manager with strong data analytics experience to join our Auckland Risk Assurance team. You’ll lead teams on a range of complex, high profile and challenging projects across a wide range of public and private organisations. A lot of our work has a national focus so there are likely to be opportunities to work around the country too. You’ll be joining a team who makes a real difference to clients, often interacting with senior executives in client organisations. Each client has individual and often unique requirements, so producing innovative, forward thinking solutions can often be a critical part of your role. What you’ll need to bring to the role You will have a relevant tertiary qualification along with a minimum of five years’ work experience including time spent at a big four firm. You will be an excellent problem solver with strong technical skills in data, together with having an understanding of relational databases (SQL), and other programming languages. You will have the ability to present the data and draw insights from the data, using visualisation tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
You will also need to demonstrate the ability to identify and address client needs, including developing and sustaining meaningful client relationships and understanding the client's business.
Previous experience from diverse sector backgrounds such as public sector, energy, utilities, education, health or financial sectors, in a similarly focussed data led environment is essential, as is working with a diverse range of people in organisations and having the ability to persuade and convince. You’ll need to challenge and collaborate in meaningful ways and work with clients to enable better outcomes.
You’ll be at ease interacting with senior executives and demonstrate a solid commitment to providing exceptional client service. You will have a flexible working style and will be comfortable managing conflicting deadlines and requirements.
