Our Canberra practice specialises in providing advice to Commonwealth Government clients and both listed and private companies.  Some of our key Government clients include the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the National Health and Medical Research Council, the Department of Health and Ageing, Department of Human Services, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Our involvement can vary from providing strategic advice on governance arrangements, analysing the financial viability risk of organisations, assessing grant applications for Commonwealth funding, investigating fraudulent or non-compliant behaviour of recipients of Commonwealth funds, providing advice on internal assurance frameworks and undertaking internal audit engagements for Government organisations.

We are currently seeking an experienced candidate at the Assistant Manager or Manager level to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be CA qualified, with experience in Government Advisory, particularly Internal Audit.  A big 4 background will be well regarded.  Australian Citizenship is essential (in order to obtain security clearance to work with our Government clients).

You will also demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills, along with commercial acumen, quality orientation and a strong client focus.
