Southern Cross Austereo is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Music Director/Announcer who is looking to take the next step in their career, to join the winning KOFM team in Newcastle!

In this role, you will work closely with the Content Director to ensure the station’s strategic objectives are achieved through excellent music scheduling, effective tactical planning/execution and on air work that makes you stand out! You will keep a constant eye out for new content opportunities and make them come alive across the content platforms. 

As the successful person you will:

• Have a great on-air presence 
• Be passionate about music and be familiar with the Gold format
• Have proven commercial radio experience
• Have excellent Selector skills and a demonstrated ability to build a perfect day’s log
• Have an understanding of CRA’s Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards
