Southern Cross Austereo, one of Australia’s most innovative and exciting entertainment-based media companies, is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join its Canberra based TV Operations department in the role of Presentation and Ingest Supervisor.
In your new role, you responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Presentation and Ingest teams within the Playout Operations Department. You will also be responsible for the ongoing training and staffing within the Presentation and Ingest teams.
Make no mistake, we are after the best! As the successful applicant you will:
Work in a team environment on a 24 x 7 rotational shift roster
Be able to work unsupervised for extended periods
Be familiar with the Australian Television landscape and Free TV Code of Practice
Liaise with other departments e.g.: Programming, Traffic, Studio, Regional
Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Applications and a general knowledge of the Linux and Unix operating systems
Have exceptional communication and customer service skills
Be able to proactively develop effective working relationships with your team members and internal and external stakeholders
Operate with a ‘can-do’ attitude and tap into many resources to achieve the desired outcome
