What would you be doing?
The Auckland Risk Assurance team is looking to recruit an experienced Information Technology and Systems Audit Senior Manager to undertake a variety of complex audits, security and control engagements across a wide range of public and private organisations. As a Manager/Senior Manager in the team, you will be provided with a wide variety of work across a range of organisations, which will allow you to further develop your technical and business skills. Some key responsibilities would include:

• Managing engagements within the ITGC audit service line: including management of resources, liaising with the financial audit team to plan, scope, and the monitoring of progress of each review.
• Planning and conducting of complex IT audits, security and control engagements, internal audits and/or business process controls reviews;
• Identifying and evaluating risks/impacts associated with business findings;
• Preparing and presenting reports that make pragmatic and appropriate recommendations to resolve identified control weaknesses;
• Supervising and coaching team members and managing client relationships

What you’ll need to bring to the role
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems, experience in business processes and cycles and a thorough understanding of information processing controls. You may be CA/CPA qualified, or you may also be CISA qualified and will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject. You will have significant experience in applying risk based audit methodologies. You will use your extensive industry knowledge of at least five years within the Big Four to identify technological developments and evaluate the impacts on the clients business. Putting the technical aside you will be a real people person, enjoy engaging with clients and building strong, lasting relationships. Your work ethic will be second to none, and you will thrive on displaying your first-rate project management abilities, and report writing skills.
