Description

Founded in 2004, McGrathNicol is a dynamic advisory firm trusted by blue chip clients to partner with them to devise and implement pragmatic solutions for complex business issues.

With offices throughout Australia and in New Zealand, and now a global alliance with Alvarez & Marsal, we promise our clients hands-on experience, stakeholder management capability, financial skills, commercial acumen and common sense.  We bring these qualities to client’s concerns large and small, across a broad range of industries and across the corporate, private and government sectors.

Our Insolvency team provides a full range of insolvency services to financiers, trade creditors and executive and non-executive directors with exposure to entities experiencing financial distress.  We are a leader in the management of corporate insolvency cases, having conducted many of Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest and most complex insolvency appointments.

We are currently seeking experienced candidates across a range of levels to join our Sydney office.  You must possess relevant insolvency experience in pre-appointment IA assignments and secured work, preferably within a Big 4 or boutique advisory firm.  Your CA qualifications are essential (either recently completed or currently enrolled), and an ARITA qualification will be highly regarded.

Essential to your success in this role is your ability to demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills, along with strong commercial acumen, a commitment to quality and exceptional client focus.

In return we offer a dynamic environment where employees are rewarded for their hard work through a competitive remuneration package, including participation in our annual bonus program.  Other benefits include training and career development, personalised mentorship, postgraduate study support, international and domestic secondment and travel opportunities, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the best practitioners in the field.
