We have an opportunity in our Sydney office for a Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Financial Services team.
Our Financial Services team is proud to work with global and local fund managers, the wealth management arms of Australian retail and investment banks, and other market participants such as brokers and market operators. We provide corporate, commercial and regulatory advice and our areas of focus include listed and unlisted investments funds, financial markets and derivatives, funds M&A, investment distribution and financial services regulation.
This role also provides the potential for a continued stream of work and international opportunities with our intention to merge with global law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright.
What we are looking for
We would like to hear from 5-7 year (PAE) Senior Associates with a background in Funds Management. Experience in private practice is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing commercial advice in relation to financial services products
Providing advice on managed investment schemes
Reviewing documents and advising on regulatory requirements
Ensuring compliance with Australian Financial Services Licence obligations
Corresponding with regulators and government bodies
