This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to assist our team in one of Victoria’s most loved tourist destinations – Phillip Island Nature Park.
We are seeking a hospitality professional, with the following experience & capabilities:
- Min of 2 years experience as a chef - Knowledge of HACCP and OHS is essential - Relevant experience working in a fast paced establishments - Busy Cafe and some function experience with a bit of flair - Excellent time management and communication skills - Strong passion for cooking and delivering excellence - Certificate or Diploma in Commercial cookery or related discipline

- A proven ability to deliver the highest standards in food service and product presentation whilst maintaining a hygienic, safe and clean kitchen environment to meet the highest level of guest and staff satisfaction - Excellent communication skills whilst ensuring Company standards are maintained. - A Food Hygiene certificate - The ability to multi-task & be a team player - Excellent presentation and grooming standards - High motivation and be able to think on your feet in a busy, fast paced environment - Excellent time management skills - Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines - Hospitality experience in a similar position
This position will be a casual role with hours varying as we approach our busy season. Phillip Island Nature Park operates as a 7 day operation, so flexibility will be key.
