About the Role Based at Melbourne International Airport you will be accountable for assisting the Restaurant Manager with the day to day management. Your role as Assistant Restaurant Manager will include the supervision of staff, managing stock control and cash reconciliation. Coaching your team is essential to ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained including training and motivating your team whilst ensuring we deliver the highest standards in customer service and product presentation.
Motivation to grow and develop your team and instilling a fun work culture will be essential in developing your team to provide exceptional service to all airport guests including travellers, airport staff and clients.
Potential applicants are greatly sought from those candidates that have previously worked within a Fast Food Franchise. Full Training will be provided for those successful applicants to align you with our business and support you in the growth of your role.
Assisting the Restaurant Manager with the effective management in order to meet strategic and financial goals;
Adherence to all Franchise and Delaware North Policies and Procedures
Passion and enthusiasm for work in a fast-pace environment
Demonstrated leadership ability with focus on Speed of Service
Experience leading and/or developing team members
Ensuring guest satisfaction through the delivery of seamless customer service;
Implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance, food Maintaining a superior level of cleanliness within the outlets safety and operational standards are met
A strong focus on food safety including daily records are maintained
Management and adherence of employee work rights for their Student and Working Holiday visa's including checking compliance and hours worked
Monitor food safety across the business including temperature check
A drive to ensure excellent standards of grooming and presentation exist across the team
Criteria / Qualifications
Food Safety Supervisor Certification and/or the following;
