Livewire Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Delaware North at Etihad Stadium is looking for an energetic and skilled individual to be our new Assistant Manager in the LiveWire Food & Beverage entertainment precinct. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the continued operational success of LiveWire through the delivery of excellence in quality products and exceeding customer service expectations. LiveWire consists of Restaurants, a Café, Bar and TAB and operates seven days a week.

          Key duties include:

  • Managing a team of staff ensuring labour is kept in line with weekly budgets and revenue with a focus on executing excellent guest service

  • Keen eye for detail to drive standards of service delivery and appearance of bars & restaurants

  • Driving innovation within the Livewire space

  • Effectively supervising bar personnel and monitoring compliance to liquor licensing legislation and RSA

  • Monitoring stock usage and requirements and ensuring distribution is done in a manner consistent to company standards

  • Working collaboratively with Human Resources to facilitate recruitment, training and performance counselling across your department.

    What do you need?

  • Supervisory experience within a team environment in a bar or restaurant

  • Social media experience with knowledge in the promotional space

  • Restaurant and bar operations knowledge

  • Strong leadership qualities

  • Solid organisational skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Operations, Business, Management or related discipline is preferred.

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol and a certification in Food Safety
