Catalina Lounge - Catering to the exclusive International Lounge, Catalina serves up an all you can eat buffet option, featuring local produce and international cuisines.
Dome - Open 24/7, Dome is the airport's largest food and beverage outlet, serving up made to order items designed to eat in or take away;
Bumbu - Whipping up Asian-fusion inspired flavours transporting our guests to the streets of Asia.
Our cooks thrive in a fast paced environment and are able to complete a la carte service and production for grab and go items in our other airport venues. To be successful you will have experience in a commercial kitchen and prioritise food safety processes above all.
As a cook you will be responsible for:
Preparing a range of hot & cold meals,
Production - sandwiches etc
Stock control and ordering,
Carrying out regular temperature checks,
Ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen.
Successful candidates must have A La Carte/production experience and:
Available to work 11pm to 7am, 6am to 2pm, and/or 3pm to 11pm
Flexible to work between 30 to 35 hours per week
Be passionate about food and the product they deliver
Have sound knowledge of HACCP regulations and Food safety legislation
Hold a Food Safety Certificate or be willing to obtain one
Available to be rostered between 9pm and 9am
Certificate 2/3 Commercial Cookery qualification is advantageous but not essential
Award rates and other associated allowances (travel, uniform late/early work) and weekend rates apply.

Note:Employees at Darwin Airport must obtain and retain a valid ASIC pass, which will involve a federal police check.
