Food and Beverage Team Leader – Adelaide Airport
We is proud to be offering multiple employment opportunities to join our team at Adelaide Airport! To assist us in delivering in this fun and exciting environment we require experienced Team Leaders / Supervisors to join our iconic outlets (CIBO espresso & Cafe Terra Rosa) and contribute to our dynamic team.
Adelaide Airport is a unique environment offering a diverse mix of food & beverage options. At Delaware North we operate across this spectrum covering Cafes, Bars and speciality cuisine through to Fast Food outlets. We are seeking the services of experienced supervisors to join our team in two of our unique outlets. These roles work on a rotating roster so the ability to work across seven days and varying hours is essential.
CIBO Espresso is an iconic South Australian brand offering an Italian cafe experience at Adelaide Airport. We are looking for an experienced, strong and assertive team leader / supervisor to help our team drive customer service and profitability improvements. The successful applicant will be a strong communicator able to train & develop staff in customer service excellence and coffee / barista skill set.
Cafe Terra Rosa - serving a menu range consisting of made to order and grab and go favorites, Cafe Terra Rosa offers a variety and range to Adelaide Airport food and beverage offerings. The successful candidate will have experience leading a small team and driving superior customer service experiences. Exposure / experience with covering cooking operations (breaks etc) is advantageous but not essential.
Successful applicants must possess a Food Safety Certificate and a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate. The successful applicant must also hold or be willing to gain a Food Safety Supervisor and SA Responsible Persons Badge as a requirement for this role. Additional qualifications such as Diplomas/Certificates in Hospitality Management are desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities include:
Maintaining the highest levels of food safety and hygiene in line with HACCP expectations
Hands on supervision of all bar/restaurant operations, ensuring efficient and friendly service and the delivery of consistent and high quality F&B products to all guests
Ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, product and presentation at all times, and mobilising the workforce to strive for the equivalent in excellence
Monitoring sales trends and profit margins in order to optimise the outlets profit via POS reporting.
Resolution of guest complaints in regards to service and food quality, with the intent to utilise the opportunity for recovery to leave a lasting and positive impression
Maintenance of staffing levels, appropriate to limiting costs but ensuring excellence in service standards are not compromised
Skills and experience:
Demonstrated customer-focussed and highly visible approach
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and Point of Sales Systems
Demonstrated ability to drive change and upselling/promotional programs
Experience managing a team in fast paced F&B outlets and within a unique hospitality environment will be highly regarded
These are full time positions, applicants must be able to be rostered across the entire operating periods in line with business requirements. Outlets operate from 4am to 11pm 7 days a week.
