Delaware North at Kings Canyon Resort is proud to be offering an opportunity for passionate and experienced Cook/Kitchen Steward to join the team at one of the Red Centre’s little know jewels hidden deep in the Watarrka National Park. This property is sublimely located close to the majestic Kings Canyon and has a great energetic and friendly working environment to match.
What you will bring to the role;
Professional and committed
focus on detail
you will ideally hold a Certificate III (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent
an excellent understanding of ‘Food Safety’ and HACCP principals
With natural creative flair you won’t be afraid to experiment with new techniques, allowing you the opportunity to develop your skills through working with our evolving menus
Strong communication and prioritising skills
You will already be working as a Cook having gained experience showcasing your talent for cooking in a quality restaurant or hotel environment.
These are "live-on" remote location roles. Working in a remote location is not for everyone, so you must think carefully about the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.
