Your opportunity
Role Build, maintain and enhance Australian Unity’s growing SharePoint environment which encompasses dozens of internal and external facing sites. You will be integral in developing our SharePoint administration capability and be tasked with leading the organisation in the migration to SharePoint 2010 (training available). You will also be expected to mentor team members and service desk members to expand our support offering.

Build an effective SharePoint support service across both the service desk and back office teams ensuring that no single person dependencies exist.

Manage all application and system architecture for the SharePoint farms.

Act as a technical escalation point for all configuration issues.

Conduct pre-emptive maintenance and management of the SharePoint farms.
-
Continuously assess application architecture for high availability solutions.
-
Monitoring of all scheduled activities and providing corrective action where alerts or failures are identified.

Acting as a technical lead for the business when new solutions are being evaluated.

Preparation, maintenance and co-ordination of systems documentation.

Coordination and implementation of system upgrades as required.
Profile
-
Implementation and management of SharePoint infrastructures for 1000+ seat organisations.

Strong SharePoint 2007 configuration, installation and management experience.
-
MOSS07 architecture experience.
-
MS SQL 200x proficiency.
-
ITIL Framework experience (Change, Incident, Problem).
-
Win 2008, IIS administration.
-
Performance Tuning.

Customer focussed and service orientated.
