The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Team Executive (Legal Secretary) to join our Melbourne office on a full time, permanent basis.

This role would suit someone who has a keen interest in progressing their administrative skills to become a Practice Executive (Senior Secretary/EA) in the future.

As a Team Executive, you are responsible for providing proactive and effective general secretarial and administration assistance to our Lawyers & Practice Executives across a diverse range of tasks.

In this role you will closely with the Team Assistant/Practice Executive Team Lead to ensure the smooth day to day running of, and provide additional support to, the Team Assistants. You will monitor requests that come through and act as a first point of escalation within the team.

Development within the Team Executive role will be supported by the Team Leader and Operations Manager.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Prior experience in a law firm environment.
  • "Can do" and proactive approach, including accepting tasks outside the general scope of duties.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
  • Demonstrates initiative and strong client focus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Behaves in a professional manner, and is personable and approachable at all times.
