The Role:

As a result of exponential growth we are looking to hire a Specialist (equivalent to Senior Consultant in Big4 consulting) to join our Risk Modernisation team in either Sydney or Melbourne.

As a Specialist, you will be an integral member of a team delivering core risk and compliance solutions to clients across a variety of industries including financial services, retail, corporate and government. Your work will include advising clients on the development and implementation of risk frameworks, the assessment of risk programs, the implementation of controls testing and uplift, as well as the design and implementation of compliance programs.

Across a regular week as a Specialist you will:

  • assist clients with the enhancement and uplift of foundational risk management practices, including risk, compliance and controls frameworks;
  • support the ongoing management of client relationships and business development initiatives, including the preparation of go-to-market materials; and
  • assist in defining and developing the growth agenda and strategy for the Risk Modernisation practice.

About you:

  • You are an experienced consultant with demonstrated capability and expertise in advising clients on non-financial risk management. You'll have experience working in a well-respected consulting firm.
  • You're an experienced risk practitioner and are comfortable with the common tools, frameworks and standards in this space.
  • You have proven experience in bringing high quality value to clients through developing risk management strategies and controls.
  • You have proven experience creating, fostering and developing client relationships with the ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You're passionate about collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and have experience managing multiple projects throughout their entire engagement lifecycle, including experience with proposals, pre-engagement activities, producing high quality deliverables, conducting stakeholder workshops, issuing final reports and billing.
