RISK ASSURANCE MANAGER Ideal opportunity for Internal/External Auditor to broaden their experience!

The application of sound Finance and Risk Assurance practices to business issues provides excellent scope for a forward thinking and commercially astute manager who enjoys the challenges their role provides.
The role is about bringing commercial insight to business risk, then working with people to cultivate increased Risk Assurance and Mitigation behaviours within the organisation. This will involve challenging our mindset and redesigning our approach to risk in all areas—in Aged Care, this means huge variety! The position will also work on projects set by the CFO/CEO.
The position reports to the CFO and will work with the CEO and the Audit Committee. To secure this position the person will have sound auditing skills with the ability to apply these methodologies to a wide variety of business disciplines to achieve beneficial outcomes (10 years + & pref CA or CPA). Also, broad general business acumen is required. Success in this role is dependent on people and influencing skills rather than the “auditors sheriff’s badge”. You will be able to work with people, recognise & respond appropriately to their reactions to increase a risk awareness culture.
