• Fabulous ongoing training and development opportunities92.9, part of Southern Cross Austereo which is one of Australia’s most innovative media companies is on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic radio professional to fill the key role of Operations Manager / Music Director.Your new role will see you working closely with the Content Director, On-air talent and production teams in maintaining the station’s objectives and following up on agreed strategic or tactical planning. This new role will also see you responsible for excellent music scheduling and effective tactical planning/execution that makes us stand out! You will keep a constant eye out for new content opportunities and make them come alive across the content platforms. You will be taking to the airwaves yourself as well as providing support to the Content Director in developing our talented content teams.
Make no mistake, we are after the best. As the successful applicant you will:
- Need extensive knowledge of radio and the Content issues relating to the Perth market
- Have a broadcasting voice suitable for 92.9 target audience with a breadth of radio experience 
- Be results driven and delivery focussed with excellent with excellent radio delivery skills 
- Have an understanding of legal compliance issues with regards to contests including the assessment of risk around legal and PR outcomes.
- Have Superior Selector skills and a demonstrated ability to build a perfect day’s log
- Understand of CRA’s Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards
- The passion to create great music log’s is a must
