Technical Trainer – Insurance Industry

A&G Insurance Services, whose major brand, Budget Direct, is one of the leading providers of Personal Lines Insurance in Australia.  We have over 650 employees across several locations along the east coast of Australia.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a motivated Technical Trainer to join our Quality Assurance and Technical Training Department.  This position will be based at our North Lakes Operation Centre and will report directly to the National Manager of QA & Technical Training.

The function of this role is seen as an integral part of our Assessing Department, particularly to the development, delivery and evaluation of Motor Assessing training activities, with emphasis on induction training and on-going assessor development.

What you will need to demonstrate to us to be successful in this role:
• A high skill level in your ability to communicate with people at all levels within an organisation
• Ability to prioritise your own time effectively, particularly when meeting deadlines on projects
• To work autonomously or as part of a team
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to think strategically when developing client focussed learning and development solutions for the business
• Capacity to analyse and resolve problems and create innovative solutions
• Relevant trade qualifications with prior assessing background and experience
• Prior experience in coaching and development
